Townsendites May Convene Here For Rally Business Meet

Word received here from A. O. Soholm, Arizona Area Director of the Townsend Plan, indicates that the next State Convention of the Townsendites may be held in Nogales. The convention would bring about 500 to Nogales, it was said.

A letter received by W. S. Larcom stated that extreme heat in Phoenix made it desirable that the convention be held elsewhere. A convention is scheduled to be called shortly to take action with regard to the coming campaign, methods of operation, and other business. The convention will also rally Townsendites to the cause.

Efforts were being made by various Nogales Townsendites to have local business men assist in bringing the convention to this city.
