By a Letter from Mr. Knight (who was by Accident carried off in the Fleet to the West Indies) dated at Barbados January 4th, to his Correspondent in Town, we are inform'd, That on that Day the Fleet sail'd for Martinico, consisting of 18 Sail of the Line, and 20 Frigates and Bombs, with 12000 Troops, and 4000 Seamen, who take Arms and are disciplined: The Fleet under the Command of Admiral Rodney, Sir James Douglas, and Commodore Swanton: And that the Island of Barbados supplies 1200 Men towards the Expedition.
