APOLOGY.

Matter for the present issue of our paper has been prepared under a stress of many disadvantages, and we trust that a generous and charitable public will overlook any imperfections. We hope for much improvement in our next and succeeding issues.

Possess Your Souls In Patience,—
We hope our friends will pardon us for the dearth of local matter, and those of our patrons will possess their souls in patience, whose advertisements fail to appear in this issue, in consequence of their being too late. When we began to make up the form we found that we had reached far beyond our calculation and most sanguine expectations, so far as our "ads" are concerned, which precludes much valuable matter that would have otherwise appeared. We will do better next time.
