Arrest Two Boys for Shoplifting

Two Chardon juveniles, 17 and 16-years-old, involved in petty larceny at Thrasher's Market, Chardon Plaza, two weeks ago, were sentenced last week by Juvenile Judge Robert B. Ford, according to Chardon Police.

The youths took wine and chewing gum from the display cases in the store.

The 17-year-old was to pay $5 retribution to Thrasher's, received a suspended fine of $50, and had his driver's license suspended for an indefinite period.

The other boy was placed in the Geauga Child Care Center until further investigation can be made.
