By authentic accounts from Amsterdam we are assured, the Vrow Trump, a Dutch brig, from Surinam, the beginning of June last took up four men out of a small boat near the island of Tobago, who had been three days at sea, without any sustenance: One of them was a Swiss officer, and had sailed from Nantes with eighteen of his countrymen, and a large quantity of naval stores for the service of the Americans, on board the Adelaide, a vessel of three hundred tons, bound to South Carolina, which had foundered in a hurricane, and all her crew perished except the Swiss and the three seamen his companions.
