They write from Petersburg, that all the regular Troops that are not absolutely necessary in the Places conquered from Sweden, are withdrawn from thence, and are actually on their March from the Ukraine.

Our Letters add, that 40,000 Recruits, which the Court some Time ago gave Orders for raising, were all raised within less than a Month, and without a Farthing Expence to the Government, by the excellent Regulations made in the Russian Empire: the greatest Part of those Recruits are already arrived at their respective Regiments.
