YMCA VOLLEY BALL TEAM PREPARES FOR W. P. A. GAME WEDNESDAY
The Business and Professional Men Volley Ball team of the Butler Street YMCA settled down to hard work last night on the Y court, in preparation for their coming game with a coalition of WPA teams. The group which has not been defeated during the past two seasons, realize the strength of their opposition in the Wednesday's game, and therefore are striving to be in the best of physical condition for the match.
Last night's work-out was featured by 3 hard fought games between two selected groups-the "Horn-Frog"and the "Toads."
The Frogs being lead by C. H Bronner and the Toads by L Clark, the Heavy Twins" of the gang. The Frogs served. Smashed and Spiked their way to victory in 2 out of 3 games played.
After the work-out Captain W. S Holloman called the group together and outlined their program for the next few days, which included the game for Wednesday night, as a social for their friends on the same night.
