Full Text

London, May 8. They write from Hamburgh, that his
Prussian Majesty had given Orders to his general Officers, to hold
all the Troops that are not in Garrison, in a Condition to take
the Field by the middle of the Month of May, and had also directed
his own Field Equipage to be kept in Readiness, though
at the same Time it was rumoured, that his Majesty had fixed
the Terms of a Neutrality with the Court of Petersburgh, so
that it was absolutely impossible to penetrate the Motives to these
extraordinary military Preparations.
The same Letters say, that it was believed the Czarina
would very quickly set Prince Anthony Ulrick of Wulfenbuttle
at Liberty, out of Regard to his Prussian Majesty; and would
cause the young Prince John, who had formerly the Title of
Emperor of Russia, to be brought to Court, in Order to his being
educated there in a Manner suitable to his high Birth, and
near Relation to her Imperial Majesty.
