A Blaze.
A fire, which resulted in the burning of
Marshall Smith's small warehouse and
about twenty bales of hay, besides considerably
damaging a box car belonging to
the Cheyenne & Northern, occurred at
about noon yesterday. The fire department
was promptly on hand and saved
the car from destruction, but the warehouse
was too far gone before the firemen
were warned to be saved by any agency.
The loss to Mr. Smith will be about $200,
fully covered by insurance. The fire was
caused by tramps making the warehouse
and vicinity their headquarters.
