BAND TO PLAY ON
SUNDAY AT 4 P.M.
Clark College's Davage Auditorium Sunday will be the scene of the College Concert Band's Annual Vesper Concert. The program will begin at 4 p.m., and will be directed by Bandmaster Wayman A. Carver.
The Concert will open with the march "Old Trinity" by F. A. Panella as the prelude. The band will accompany the audience in "Worship the King" by Grant-Haydn. Miss Louise Lee, student, will conduct this selection.
Following the invocation and prayer-response, the Band will offer "Adoramus Te and Sanctus" by G. P. da Palestrina. The overture "Magic Isle" by Forrest L. Buchtell will follow.
One of the highlights of the concert will be the selection "Allelua" from the Motet "Exultate Jubilate" by Mozart. The band will accompany Miss Oweta Johnson, soprano; Miss Nazetta O'Neal, soprano; Miss Louise Lee, alto; Donald High, tenor, and Benjamin Harper, baritone, in this selection.
The program will close with "If Thou Be Near" by J. S. Bach, and the College Saxophone Choir will offer "Londonberry Air" as the postlude.
There will be a meeting of Clark alumni immediately following the concert in room 211 of the administration building.
Bandmaster Wayman A. Carver and Alumni Secretary Harold Hamilton invite all Clark alumni to attend the concert and the alumni meeting.
