GAME WARDEN McCOY DOING GOOD WORK

Game warden McCoy of Gunnison returned last week from a long trip after the parties who killed a big buck in the vicinity of Sargent he was successful not alone in securing the dead deer which was shipped to Denver, but captured its slayers and brought them back to Gunnison for trial. Warden McCoy is making the game law violators hard to catch as he will camp on their trail until overtaken and put them up against the real thing when caught instead of letting them off easy as has been the custom of some of his predecessors. The new warden is placing several hundred thousand young trout in the Gunnison river and tributary streams and will keep a sharp look out to see that all fishermen comply with the law respecting the taking of fish during the closed season and the catching of under seven inches long must be stopped altogether no matter by whom, men, boys, girls or women. What's the use of putting fish into the streams two inches in length and allowing them to be caught out of it when they are but three or four inches long. That's right Mr. Warden go after them all alike, the kids are no worse than some of the grown ups for taking fish under size.
