Full Text
It becomes increasingly obvious that the entire state one of these days will have to take stock of the school problem—the same school problem which led to teachers' strikes in both St. Paul and Minneapolis.
The only answer is to acquaint all the people with the problem, and once the people have been given the information, it is up to state and city leaders to present a plan which will be both fair and workable.
Costs of living, costs of everything have been going up for a long time. Costs of education inevitably keep pace with increased costs. The only question is, whether we are willing to pay for the kind of education we want and demand for our children.
