Full Text

In Town.

Several townsmen from Dayton visited Silver the past day or two, among them L. L. Crockett, Esq., and lady. G. W. Keith, Esq. (whose family are now visiting at San Jose, California, making friend Keith very disconsolate), Assessor Nash, J. C. Gruber, Treasurer G. W. Shaw, Recorder Gilpin, and last in our list, but by no means lost sight of, especially by the evil-doers in the county, Sheriff Bob Cooke. Since the above was placed in type quite a number of Daytonites have put in an appearance, among them County Clerk Bonham, mine host of the Golden Eagle Hotel, J. H. Jaqua, C. Stegman, and several others.
