"Bravo" To New Morehouse Physical Ed Building
Morehouse College put its new health and physical education building on display Sunday and some 2,000 Atlantans cheered "Bravo." The magnificent new edifice is a dream that came true.
The attractive, ultra modern building, constructed at a cost of $835,000, is a source of pride to alumni and college supporters whose contributions, large and small, made it possible.
That the facility has won the admiration and community-wide success so necessary for its success and complete utilization, was attested to by large crowd that viewed it at the first "open house."
Dr. Benjamin E. Mays, in spearheading construction of this building, has rendered a distinct service to the Atlanta University Center. The facility deserves the rave notices which the public has accorded it.
