St. Clairsville, Ohio, May 5.
There has not been a criminal prosecution at either of the courts in this county during the present year: nor have there been any at the last court terms in Guernsey or Monroe county. At the last court in Columbiana county there were no criminal indictments, a circumstance not remembered to have occurred since the organization of that county. We would like to see this desirable state of things continue, and the example of obedience to the laws of the land universally imitated.
