Full Text

THE CHURCH CHOIRS.

We had the extreme pleasure last Saturday evening of listening for a few minutes to the rehearsals of the choirs in both the Second Baptist and A. M. E., Churches, and must confess that we were agreeably surprised at the wonderful progress they are making under the direction of Messers Perkins and Turner. We are glad to see that our people are going ahead in this direction.

And we hope that each of the choirs referred to may continue in earnest practice till they may become an honor to our community.
