L. H. Daingerfield, Los Angeles weather forecaster, predicted showers Saturday and Sunday and fresh snow in the mountains. Los Angeles received 1.03 rain.

Only farmers pleased by the rain in Imperial Valley were grain and flax men who were saved irrigation costs. Some damage to carrots was reported, although not serious, and dairymen, as usual, were forced to keep cattle out of the fields.
