In the General Bill of Christenings and Burials in London, the Year past, there has been,
Christened 15,133. Buried 26,143.

The Diseases of which the greatest Number have died, were Convulsions 6338; Consumptions 4892; Fevers 3414; Small-Pox 282.

By which it appears that the last mentioned nauseous Disease in the natural Way, proves more mortal than all the various Fevers which are prevalent in that City.

The Small Pox has lately made great Havoc in Paris, and has carried off the Count de Aumale, and many other Persons of Distinction. Inoculation is prohibited in France on Pain of Death.
