Dr. Ed Honke, Sioux City, was here Saturday at the E. M. Gleeson and Robert DeVoy homes.

Mr and Mrs. Al Moler, formerly of O'Neill and now living in Hastings, were honored Sunday at a 40th wedding anniversary surprise celebration planned by their ten children. Eight of their children and many relatives and friends attended the dinner in Hastings.

Helping the Molers to celebrate from this area were: Mr and Mrs John Grutsch and sons Elvin and Morris and daughter Mrs. L. G. Stevens of Oakland Mr and Mrs Fred Ernst. Mr. and Mrs. Mike London: Dave Moler and son. Don: Mrs Don Drickey and Mrs. Austa Crabb

Mrs. Juliana Kamphaus was a guest of Mrs Henrietta Underwood Monday evening

Mr. and Mrs. Anton Svatos and Mr. and Mrs Leonard Svatos and David of Amelia were guests at the William Shaw home Monday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Jones. Jodell and Melissa returned this week from Ardmore, Okla., where they spent a week with his grandmother, Mrs. Mary McClatchey and his father, Charles Jones.

Clyde Streeter, father of Mrs Clyde McKenzie entered Veteran's hospital, Grand Island. last week and will be there for an indefinite time.

Mr. and Mrs Phil Haverkamp were guests at the Ted Haverkamp home in Verdigre Sunday.

Sylvia Harder is a guest at the home of her sister and brother-in-law. Mr. and Mrs. Don Petersen. in Lincoln this week.

Linda Haynes, student nurse at Lincoln General hospital and a classmate. Linda Brown, were here for the weekend at the Laurence Haynes home.

Mr. and Mrs. Dermot Erington visited friends in Ainsworth Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Fred Karo of Atkinson called at the Charles Fox home Tuesday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Baker and Mr. and Mrs. Dale Fetrow spent Sunday at Fort Randall.

Mr. and Mrs. John Laska spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Novak of Fullerton and Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Laska of Silver Creek.

Guests at the Ralph McElvain home Saturday of last week were Mrs. R. K. Platte of Chambers and her daughter. Mrs. Eldon Wood of Los Angeles, Calif.

Larry Krugman. son of Mr. and Mrs. Bud Krugman, went to Lincoln with his grandparents. Mr. and Mrs. August Kumm of Norfolk. for the weekend. While in Lincoln, Larry stayed with his uncle. S-Sgt Armn Kumm and family. They saw the Air Show at the Lincoln Air Force base and attended the confirmation of Jim Kumm. Larry's cousin

Mr and Mrs Herman Janzing were in Atkinson Sunday with her mother and sister, Mrs. Joe Bruer and Mrs Walter Ries They also visited at the Wendell Babl and Joe Babl homes.

Carol Johnson spent the weekend here with her parents. Mr and Mrs. Marvin Johnson

Mrs. C. E. Jones and Mrs. Esther Morgan were in Polk Saturday and Sunday at the homes of their brothers. Mr and Mrs Enoch Peterson and Mr and Ben Peterson

Mr. and Mrs. Billie Marcellus and family were weekend guests in Wisner of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Williamson and family. Mrs. Williamson returned with the Williamson family to attend commencement activities of her son. Bob, Mon day Mrs. Williamson and Mrs. Marcellus were in Page where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. C. P. Leach and Mrs. Celestine Williamson.

The annual Butterfield family reunion was held Sunday at the Battle Creek park. All nine children of the late Mr. and Mrs. F E. Butterfield, who lived in the Walnut community were present together with several grandchildren their families and guests
