In SENATE, Saturday, FEB. 11, 1815.
A joint committee was chosen to report on the subject of Banks, whose charters have expired, &c.
Numerous local and private subjects were presented and acted upon.
The Senate had concurred with the Hon. House
MONDAY, FEB. 13. As soon as the Senate met, the subject of the Tidings of Peace, this day received, it the appointment committee the received, it Adjourned.
TREATY OF PEACE, &c.
Quincy, of the joint committee appointed TUESDAY, FEB. 14 The Hon. to report on measures to be adopted in consequence ty of Peace between the United States Great Britain, made the following REPORT!— The Legislature of Massachusetts being impressed with a deep and lively sense of and in restoring the blessings of peace Universe, in restraining the wrath of the Almighty goodnt our distressed land :— Therefore, Resolved, That on the Twenty-second day of February in Wednevdn
In continuation of the cessation of hostilities the Legislature will undoubtedly adjourn sine die, after making the necessary appropriations for the support of government during the recess.
Prayer and thanksgiving to Almighty God, for the mercy and deliverance he has thus vouchsafed.
Resolved, That the Chaplains of both branches be requested to make selections from the scriptures and to prepare suitable religious services.
Resolved, That his Excellency the Governor, His Honor the Lieutenant Governor, the honorable Council and members be invited to unite with the Legislature in these solemnities.
Resolved, That a joint Committee be appointed to make the necessary arrangements.
Measures for a display of fireworks, and in that they are authorized to take such measures as they may deem expedient for a general illumination of all public buildings with the Selectmen of Boston on the occasion.
Messrs. Davis of Boston, Lincoln, Webster and Knapp, have been appointed the Committee of Arrangements.
Messrs. Quincy, Holmes, and Davis; and these resolves have been unanimously adopted in both branches, and the Hon.
A joint committee was directed to report on what further public business it is necessary to act upon this session.
His Excellency the Governor transmitted to both branches a letter from the Secretary of War of the U. States, explanatory of his late letter on the subject of State Corps. Committed.

MONDAY FEB 13. The Speaker having taken the chair, announced that he had in his hand a letter from Jonathan Goodhue, Esq. of New-York, directed to a Member of the House, and sent by express, announcing the conclusion of a Treaty of Peace between the United States and Great Britain.
On which a joint committee was ordered to report on the measure to be adopted on the occasion.
A joint committee was also appointed to make a report of thanks to Gen. Jackson, and his troops, for the late glorious and signal victory on the 8th Jan. The House then Adj.

The Waterville Bank bill and the Plymouth Beach bill; the Oakham Factory incorporation bill; the Lincolnville fishery regulation bills passed to be enacted.
