By Reverend A. W. Moore
I have pastored the New Zion Baptist Church in Greenwood, Mississippi for 33 years; Calvary Baptist Church, Yazoo City, Mississippi, for 34 years; and Mount Olive Baptist Church, Lexington, Mississippi for 20 years. Through the cooperation of the Choir, J.M.A., Usher Board, Missionary Society, Pastor's Aid Club and especially personal members, the Christmas of 1961 has been the greatest one in all the years of my pastorate.
Mrs. R. L. Moore who has worked with me joins in extending to you thanks, and asking God's choice of blessing on each of you who has helped to make this possible.
The sense that one is serving a higher life than himself, with a service which will become more and more perfect, enables more profound, more humbling, more exalted emotions than anything else in the world can do.
We again give praise to the above mentioned churches and auxiliaries for our happiness, may God bless and keep you and yours.
We are trying to carry on as you would have us to do, hoping to have you to clasp our hands when our work on earth is through.
