Letters and cards received monthly by Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Nans from their daughter Alice contain detailed information giving her conduct journey through France and her final assignment to missionary work in a Y. M. C. A. canteen, Grenoble, France.
This is an old town in the Alps of southern France, south of Lyons, near the Swiss and Italian border. It is a university town with a marvelous climate and is said to be one of the most beautiful towns among the mountains in France.
She drinks the same water as in Paris to Lyon, where the first stop was made and tells of the experiences of her stay in that city on her way to the university town.
