Salt Lake and Ogden Musical Organizations Will be Invited to Take Part.
EACH ON A SEPARATE DAY.
Held's Band of 25 Pieces Will be Engaged for the Entire Meeting
Judges Appointed
Preparations for the coming state fair go on without abatement. A meeting of the board of directors was held last evening, at which reports were made showing that the buildings on the fair grounds have been renovated, repaired and painted, the stalls, sheds, etc., fixed up in good condition and everything is being put in readiness for the opening of what promises to be the biggest event in the history of such affairs in these parts.
INVITE TABERNACLE CHOIRS
The board instructed Sec'y H. S. Ensign to invite the tabernacle choir to appear in a body on Salt Lake county day, and a similar invitation will be extended to the Ogden tabernacle choir for the day allotted to Weber county. Held's band, 25 pieces, will be engaged for the entire meeting.
There will be many free attractions at the fair this year among them being the following: Adgie, the woman lion tamer; Rolfson, the magic wonder; Paine's fire fighters; Abbott the aeronaut.
JUDGES APPOINTED
Judges for the cattle, horse and sheep departments have been chosen as follows: William Gentry, Archie Galbraith and James H. Cole, respectively.
