Full Text

For the MASSACHUSETTS SPY.
Mr. Thomas,

ONE proposes, that whereas the peace of this community is inevitably destroyed, if the unconstitutional commissioners, &c. which for some years past have been intruded upon us, get leave to remain any longer here; That the Select men who are the fathers of the town, assemble and go in a body to them, respectively declaring their apprehension, that the people are not safe while they reside among them, and setting a time for their departure. And in case they do not comply with the proposal, for the whole body of the people to rise and expel them, as infected and dangerous persons.
