WORKING ON NEW MINE

Zap, N. D., Sept. 25.—Messrs. Pratt and Winston of Minneapolis, are here looking after the interests of the Zap Colliery Co., under which name the new lignite mine, a mile east of Zap, will be known.

A switch and 100 feet of track has been built, and the track will be extended as soon as the grading is completed. W. J. Shearon has charge of this end of the work while Frank Winmill of Stanton is doing the grading. A steam shovel will be used and for the present the strip method will be employed to get out the coal.
