Stabbing Affray in Colchester.

There was a quarrel in Colchester on Saturday night last, which nearly terminated in a tragedy. As a result Frank L. Murray and Charles Walton were bound over in $2,000 and $500 bonds respectively for assault on Michael Leary and Joseph Womester. It is alleged that Murray stabbed Leary in the left arm, back of the left ear, and cut the upper left eyebrow nearly off. He will lose the sight of that eye. Womester ran and Murray pursued him stabbing him three times in the back and fracturing his hip and ribs with a stone. Deputy Sheriff Jackson found Murray on Tuesday concealed under several feet of hay in Tennant's barn at Hebron.
