STATE COLLEGE, Miss.—Greenville Negro Boy Scouts help harvest 36 acres of beans for Harper R. Myers, Mayesville, picking 98 hampers in one afternoon.

Charles Harper, 14-year-old student, receives payment and a bonus from Mr. Myers, for picking the first hamper of beans.

In upper right note that scout Brown carries his first air kit.
