SOUTHWEST KORONIS
Oct. 23-Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Siver
of Paynesville moved to the Mrs. Seeland farm where they will occupy the
buildings.

Mrs. Erick Olson visited on Saturday with Mrs. Lucason. Friends are
glad she is able to be around after her
illness.

Alvin Kalkbrenner who is employed
near Raymond visited with home folks
last Thursday.

Mathias Johnson who has been in the
northern part of the state for several
months, has returned home.

Miss Florence Henderson of Spicer,
a contestant in the Willmar Daily Tribune auto contest, was a caller in this
vicinity on Saturday. Here is wishing
her the best of success.

Mr. and Mrs. John Solbrock returned
home from Iowa where they went to
the bedside of her sister, who is now
recovering. After being home a day
they received the message of the death
of a niece and left again to attend the
funeral. The two trips will make a 1500
mile drive.

A. D. Johnson was taking electric
treatments in Litchfield the last week.

Miss Inga Dahlhaug of Minneapolis
is visiting at her home near Lake Koronis.

Mrs. Martin Solbrock and Mrs. Martin Braland left on Saturday for Aurora, Ill., in response to a message that
Mrs. Carl Anderson, the mother of
Mrs. Solbrock had passed away on Friday. The funeral was to take place on
Monday. Mrs. Anderson had been failing in health for some time. Mr. and
Mrs. Anderson visited here about two
months ago.

Mr. and Mrs. O. J. Orson, newlyweds,
were happily surprised on Thursday
evening when a number of their friends
came and showered them with all such
articles as come in handy when going
to housekeeping. Lunch was served and
a jolly evening spent in spite of the
inclement weather.

The Solbrock mules have been disposed of to a man from near Atwater.

The annual business meeting of the
Zion Ladies aid will be held at the
home of Mr. and Mrs. Erick Edickson
on Friday, Nov. 2.

To the women of the rural community, do not forget to go to the polls on
Nov. 6 and put an X opposite the candidate that will serve you.

Mr. and Mrs. A. Borsheim and son
Arnold and Mr. and Mrs. Thompson
were entertained at Peter Borsheim's
in West Irving Tuesday evening.

Mrs. Hilda Rufsvold arrived from Ft.
Ransom on Saturday and will spend
some time taking care of Mrs. Sarah
Peterson and Mrs. Hansina Dahlgren
who are both invalids.

Melvin Haagenson hauled some
household goods to the new home of
A. J. Haagenson last Monday.
