CELEBRATE DEFENSE WEEK

The Recreation groups are celebrating National Defense week with programs, relays, active and quiet games, wood and needle-craft displays. The teen age group made posters of National Defense. The pre-school group had a kiddies' party, Tuesday. They sang folk songs and imitated characters in the songs. The leaders told them stories, such as the 'Three Lil' Pigs,' 'The Three Bears' and many others.

The children acted the part of each character.

The center was re-decorated a few weeks ago. The quiet and active games were enjoyed by all ages. The leaders are Magnolia Young and Pearl George.
