CORE PICKETS FREEDOM TRAIN IN DRAFT PROTEST

CHICAGO—(ANP)—A 25-man group, composed of members of the Committee of Racial Equality and the Young Peoples Socialist League threw a picket line around the Freedom Train on the first day of its showing here last week.

The picket line, marching back and forth beside the long lines of citizens waiting to view the historic documents on display, were protesting against the jim crow draft and military segregation.

Posters, carried by the pickets, read "There is No Freedom Until All Are Free - End Jim Crow." "There Are No Jim Crow Shells." "The Jim Crow Draft Is The End of Freedom." "Freedom Ends Where Jim Crow Begins," "Segregation Is Not Freedom." "Jim Crow Must Go." "Segregation Harms Both Colored And White," and "The Draft Is Bad Enough Without Jim Crow,"
