TYRRELL MAN INJURED BY ACCIDENTAL BLAST

COLUMBIA.--John Cohoon, Columbia, Route 3, was accidentally shot in the leg Friday afternoon, after he had quit work and was turning out of a West Virginian Pulp Company road on the highway.

The gun was under the seat and it was thought that a jar caused it to fire. The shot went in Cohoon's leg striking the bone and pulling the muscle of the leg away from the bone.

At Columbia Hospital he was given first aid, and taken to Beaufort County Hospital, Washington, for treatment. He is an employee of the West Virginia Pulp Company.
