Mrs. Clarence Gilchrist has returned from a visit to New York.

Clarence Gilchrist of Schenectady spent Sunday at his home on Main street.

Mrs. Leo Grout and daughter, Janette, have returned home from visiting the former's brother in Massachusetts.

A. Finkle, who has been at Kinderhook, N. Y., has returned.

Miss Mary Powers spent Saturday at her home in North Bennington.

Miss Beecher, who teaches in East Arlington, was at her home in Bennington Saturday.

Herbert Blakely of Pawlet is visiting at W. I. Jones'.

Miss Gretta Dunn and Miss Tyler of North Adams were in town on Friday.

Miss Mary Barrett is to canvass from house to house for linen for the Red Cross.
It is hoped all will respond.

Mrs. Frank McDaniels is on the sick list.

Miss N. U. Houghton has returned from Arlington where she has been nursing.
