Five Locations One Completion in Cut Bank Field

One completion and five new locations marked the past week in Cut Bank field, where more favorable weather is tempting operators to start spring drilling before springtime is an established fact.

Trigood Oil Co., which provides the principal program of 1942, again swung into action with three new locations, making seven active operations.

Glacier Production Co., which usually keeps two strings of tools working, spotted two wells in the south central field.

The one completion was Glacier Production-Lookhoff No. 8, a small well which swabbed only 47 barrels in the first 24 hours. It is being shot with nitro glycerine which may improve it.

Following are the new locations:
