States' Day at Nashville.

Nashville, Tenn., Oct. 13.—New York, Connecticut and Delaware had their celebrations at the exposition yesterday. New York was represented by her Lieutenant-Governor, Timothy L. Woodruff. Gov. Tunnell and staff were here to do the honors for Delaware. The ancient Putnam phalanx, of Hartford, arrived in the morning, demonstrating Connecticut's interest in the day. The battalion made up of four separate regiments of Brooklyn's contingent of the New York State Guards paraded this morning.

The day's festivities concluded with a reception and grand ball in the New York building, which is headquarters for the visiting delegations.
