Full Text

Ratisbon, Oct. 2.

Last campaign Berlin underwent a copious bleeding from the Russians, which was sensibly felt by the king of Prussia. It was thought that they had a design to repeat the operations this year; the King was apprehensive of it.

However, it should seem, that he is delivered from these fears; and the Russians will absolutely not act offensively this campaign.

After they joined Gen. Laudohn, they subsisted on the Austrian magazines, and were supplied with every thing they could desire; but nothing could prevail on Marshal Buturlin to act: and the forage being eat up, they were obliged to separate.

The subjects of several dominions of the King of Prussia and his Allies will still suffer great loss; but notwithstanding all these losses, that prince still supports his system, to the surprise of every body.
