We hail and welcome with satisfaction to our ranks the Washington Mirror, as it appears its able and experienced Editor has determined on espousing the cause of the people's candidate for the Presidency. From the talented manner the Mirror is conducted, this accession may be viewed as of considerable importance, and, we have no doubt, will prove highly acceptable and useful. The editor thus discloses to his readers his determination: "After the present No., the Washington Mirror will be devoted to the election of General William Henry Harrison to the Presidency. We have long desired to lend our aid to what we deem the cause of liberty and the constitution, but have been prevented by a pledge which was given to our subscribers that we should remain neutral in the political arena. Those subscribers to whom we are at present bound by this obligation, are at liberty to withdraw from our books, and we are ready to refund to them such balance as may, in that case be to their credit. The Mirror will be published every Wednesday and Saturday." We shall give the "Prospectus of the Mirror" in our next number.
