Editor Lebanon Express:

Through the kindness of a friend the following was directed to my notice:

Andy T. Nichols has his house finished I suppose from the way he is fixing up he is going to get a house-keeper before long. Some one let the cat out of the bag about him and Miss Mealy. Mr. Nichols visits there pretty often— time will tell.

I will say it is a dastardly lie and any man that can so revel in slander as to use a respectable woman's name in that manner is a low-lived hound. I have my opinion of whom the writer is, and let me say here, that if repeated I will not answer for the consequence.
