From the Amsterdam Gazette.
Paris, Feb. 20.
Our last Advices from Brest are, that four Men of War are getting ready with all Expedition, but for what Service is not yet known. It is said, that the Court has sent Orders for all the Regiments, as well Horse as Foot, quartered in the Provinces, to have their full Complement of Men and Horses before the 1st of May. It is likewise reported, that the Militia have also received Orders to hold themselves in a Readiness to march at the first Word of Command.
