Two Little Boys With Their Mother's Body All of One Night.
Hutchins, Tex., March 19.-May Johnson, a negress living on the Widow Bass farm on the outskirts of Hutchins, died suddenly Tuesday evening. It was not known that she was sick, nor is the cause of her death yet known. She was living alone with her two little boys, aged 5 and 8 years, and the first intimation of her death was through them Wednesday morning. They came to H. C. Keithley's, who lives close by, and said they were "dressed up and were going to Oak Cliff." In answer to Mr. Keithley's question, "Where is your mother?" They replied that she froze to death. The little fellows had staid alone with the dead body with no light or fire through the dismal night and what sleep they had was under the same quilts which covered their mother's corpse. An inquest was held last evening.
