The Senatorial excursionists concluded Sunday morning not to proceed to Mexico, when several of them, Cameron, Chandler and others, took passage on board the royal yacht Dispatch, for Pensacola, whence they will go by rail to their homes. Morton remained in the city, intending to leave last evening, on Col. Scott's private car, per Jackson Railroad, for Indianapolis. The car is then to go to St. Louis, and from there to Houston, Texas, to await Col. Scott and party, who on their return to this city by the next Vera Cruz steamer, contemplate going North by the road leading from the Lone Star State to St. Louis.

Col. Scott is accompanied on his trip to Mexico by his lady, ex-Gov. Brown, of Georgia, wife and son, Major Ben: Perley Poore and daughter, and Chief Engineer Grant.

Major Poore will leave the Scott party on their return to this city, and proceed at once to Boston.
