Boxes of Goodies
For Selectees to
Be Packed by JWC

As a gift to the boys in Juneau who are being inducted into the Army under the Selective Service, the Juneau Woman's Club is gathering a variety of "goodies" to be packed in boxes and presented to those men, soon to leave their homes to enter into service.

The B. M. Behrends company generously contributed 40 shoe boxes which will be used as containers, and other stores and bakeries have been quick to help with the contents.

Club members will meet to do the packing on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the basement of the Methodist Church. Anyone wishing to help with this work is asked to be there at that time.
