Nolan Man In Serious Condition After Accident

Injuries sustained by Loren Junior May, 27, of Nolan, early Sunday morning in a car accident east of Kermit, are regarded as serious by the attending physician at the Veterans hospital, Huntington, where he is confined.

May, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frennie May of McAndrews, Ky., underwent an operation for the removal of his right kidney at the hospital. His other injuries include a fractured hip, fractured shoulder, and seven broken ribs.

Mr. May is at his son's bedside and Mrs. May returned home last night after being with the youth.

Details of the accident have not been learned. Two other persons were reported to have been riding in a Chevrolet sedan owned by I. V. Perry, of Nolan, when the vehicle left the highway, plunged over an embankment and landed in the ditch next to the N. & W. railway.

The injured youth is a brother of Chester May, street salesman for the Williamson Daily News.
