Texas Motor Men Win Pay Boost

DALLAS, Tex.--An increase of three-fourths of a cent per mile for all miles driven and an increase of one-half cent per mile for deadheading are contained in a new BRT agreement with Texas Motor Coaches.

The pact also provides for retroactive pay from June 1 to Aug. 31, based on .048 per cent.

Operators who leave the service for any reason and are subsequently re-employed are to retain their rate of pay. Drivers covered by the agreement are members of Lodge 988, Dallas.

H. R. Phelps, Grand Lodge representative, was on the property to assist Chairman R. L. Taylor and his committee in the dispute.
