Yesterday a General Court of the East-India Company was held at their House in Leadenhall-street on Mr. Naish's Affair, when that long depending perplexed Suit was brought to a final Issue upon the following Conditions, viz. that the Company shall pay to Mr. Naish 28,000l. in Lieu of all his Demands for Goods seized and Commissions claim'd by him as their chief Super-Cargo; that he shall allow 500l. towards defraying the Law Expences the Company has been at in proceeding against him; that he shall enter into a Bond of 10,000l. not to concern himself in any Trade to East-India, either in the British or Foreign Service, for seven Years ensuing.
