Full Text

While workmen were loading beer on the delivery wagons of the Lone Star brewery very early this morning, the team attached to the first wagon started off with their load while the last wagon was being loaded, and the driver did not discover that he had been left behind for some time, and then started out to search for the truants. He learned they had stopped a short time at our saloons on the regular route traveled daily by them, and had then started on, going in a walk all the time.

They finally stopped in front of Krisch hall saloon. A. Frank Krisch, the butcher next door, discovered them without their driver, and tied them. Alderman Fritz Schreinb telephoned to the brewery of their whereabouts. At every saloon they were too early and the saloons were not opened or they would not have been stopped before reaching the centre of the city.
