The Willis Case.

Joliffe, a lawyer of Cincinnati, and executor of the estate of Elijah Willis, recently arrived at Williston, in Barnwell District, for the purpose of executing the provisions of the Will. From the following, which we take from the Orangeburg Clarion, it seems he was obliged to leave in short order:

We learn from a private source that Joliffe, the executor of Elijah Willis' Will, was advised by the citizens of Williston to leave that place in short order. Being indisposed to bide the consequences, he left on the down train cars Monday morning last, taking back-tracks for Cincinnati. The good citizens of Williston served him just right—and we hope they will hold themselves in readiness to give a similar warning to his agents if any one should be so stupid as to accept the appointment.
