The manner in which the war has been prosecuted for some time between Sweden and Russia, indicated that a good understanding would shortly take place between the northern powers and Great-Britain, and which the complexion of our foreign intelligence induces us to think has taken place before this time.
The deliverance of 10,000 of the Spanish troops in Denmark, from Napoleon's power, is a circumstance highly gratifying to the friends of freedom. The whole Spanish force in that part of Europe amounted to about 35,000. After this the remainder will no doubt be disarmed, as we perceive 5000 have already been in Zealand. The force of France in that quarter will suffer a considerable diminution, and require to be reinforced from some other quarter. The armies of France, if we are not greatly deceived, will find sufficient employment for the remainder of this year.
