NEWS AND PERSONALS
Taylor's Bridge, March 5.-The Ladies' Aid and Victory W. C. T. U., met Friday night with Mr. and Mrs. John D. Steller. Those on the refreshment committee were: Mrs. Steller, Mrs. James L. McClain, and Miss Violet Jones.
The Friendly Neighbors Home Demonstration Club will meet this (Thursday) afternoon, March 5th, with Mrs. Margaret Watson at Blackbird.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert B. Davidson Jr., and daughter, of St. Georges, were brief visitors to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davidson, Sr., last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Paul Donoyan of Newark, have been visiting Mr. Donoyan's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Donovan.
Mr. and Mrs. James L. McClain gave a birthday dinner on Sunday, February 23rd, in honor of their daughters, Frances Armstrong McClain and Eleanor Rosalie McClain. Those present were Miss Lillian Shockley of Smyrna, Mr. and Mrs. Bradford Naylor and Mr. Herman H. Newnam of Townsend, and Mr. and Mrs. Henry Steller and daughter Marie.
Mr. George Helveston of Jenkintown, Pa., spent several days last week with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Johnson.
Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Steller, Mrs. Eugene Shockley and Mrs. William Daniels spent Thursday in Wilmington.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Duffy of Salisbury, Md., spent the week-end with Mr. and Mrs. Charles Z. Dukes.
Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Steller and sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Lee David spent Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. William R. Alfree near Middletown.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davidson and Mr. Stephen Clendaniel spent Sunday with relatives near Dover and Bowers' Beach.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee David were visitors last week of Mr. and Mrs. William Fortner at Blackbird.
Mr. and Mrs. Earle Yokum and family, and Mr. John O'Neal of Townsend, and Miss Ruth Council of Middletown, have been visiting Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Shockley.
