HORRIBLE ACCIDENT,-Yesterday morning a terrible accident occurred at the Richmond Woollen Mills. McDonald, an employee of the mills, was engaged in cleaning that part of the machinery known as the combs, when he was caught and carried through the teeth of the combs, tearing the flesh from his left arm, face and side. His fellow-workmen, hearing his cries, ran up and succeeded in rescuing him just as he was going through the second time. He was horribly mangled and his flesh was torn in ribbons. Medical assistance was rendered the unfortunate youth.-Richmond State.
