On Tuesday evening a second soldiers' meeting to make arrangements for going to the Aurora reunion was held. Reports were read showing that companies from Streator, Marseilles, Leland and La Salle would go. About 40 in Ottawa have said they would go. Another meeting will be held next Tuesday evening. The aim is to organize a "regiment" and if the soldiers of the several towns desire to avail themselves of the benefits of organization in this way in securing accommodations at the reunion, they must report to the committee before next Tuesday. The committee consists of D. F. Hitt, J. H. Widmer, Thos. Clark, T. C. Gibson and C. C. Campbell, address Ottawa.
